The Blessings of Life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am so sorry that I have not kept you all posted regularly about my life. God has taught me a lot this past week MC (Mission Conference) and I love being in the overflow of His blessings. To give and example "This past week the Lord let me be able to work in building a orphanage for the country of Madagascar for the world of nations display and it was Awesome because I was with some GREAT FRIENDS. Then durning the conference The Lord really moved my heart to see that I need to carry His cross of love and peace to a world that is lost and scared,but honestly i was sacred but He gave me peace like none other. FOOTPRINTS & SHADOWS

Well i know it's been awhile since i blogged but i have been really busy! SO WHILE i have the chance i will try to get you all caught up on what i have been learning from God's classroom.

You are probably wondering why i titled this blog footprints & Shadows well that is what the Lord is teaching me this year. Whoa wait a second! you lost me stepho, allright i'll expalin

Ps. 91:1 says "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High abide under the shadow of the Almighty" well that is what i am trying to apply to my life, being God's shadow and not the shadow of others because when i am the shadow of other people are not seeing Christ in me but rather seeing the person i am shadowing . If i want to be qualify to be called a Christian and not just another believer then i must work on being God's shadow. you see God's shadow is bigger then me so when i am in his shadow people will see Christ and not stepho

well that is the first lesson i am learning the second one is just beginning, IPeter 2:21 says "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example that we should follow his steps " if i am going to follow God to be his shadow then i have to follow His footprints that He gave. So stephen you ask how

do you do that when God's footprints are so Huge [illustration the big footprint] well by living in a manner of life that reflects God's life here on earth [II Timothy 3:10]

BACK IN THE FAST LANE

well Im back in the fast lane, that is college life, and it is going to be great. I did make the soccer team again and we have a great team this year that i believe that we will go National. classes haven't yet started but by next Wensday the 3rd i will be in the full swing of things. see you around stepho

Getting back in the swing

well i know i have been away from the kornor lattly and im sorry! to give you a brief story on what has happen since May. I have been working at the warehouse that I worked at last Summer and i have been busy! great for getting the money for school. i also have been going on some regular vistitaion with my church and been speaking at a retirement home these are tools that the Lord is helping me to sharpen. all the reading that i wanted to do WELL.......... i ve not been pushing myself for that got chew me out guys. (HA HA Ha) but i will finsh it all in the six weeks that I have left. one last thing Dad got me a cell-phone so i dont have to use everybodies mintuse up now at college and i got another suprise to but your going to have to wait on that one till i see you all face to face. got to go Stepho

SIX WEEKS FROM SOPHMORE TO JUNIOR

Well I know it has been awhile that i have posted, but i have had so much happen that i have been on trying and process it all. I still can't believe that in six weeks i will be a graduated sophomore! [WOW it has flown] and I am glad that i have made some great friends this yr and polished up some of my old friendships. tonight we are having a Teens For Christ conference for all the public and middle schools that we are in. please pray that souls will be saved and Christians to be encouraged. got to go now stepho

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

my spring break was awesome I with one of my friends went backpacking in the Smokies for two days. the weather and scenery were AWESOME!!!!!!!!! we saw several waterfalls and I had to cross a couple of them one of them Josh lost his boot and he had to were his sneakers and then to top it off it rained hard at 4:00 AM on Friday and the tent got wet, so we decided to leave on Friday. while we were there we witnessed to some men from NC and they were saved and we had an enjoyable fellowship. more on a serious note the Lord showed me some things that i have to work on in my personal life if I ever want to help others. It is going to be easieser said then done but I know the Lord will help by using the great Friends I have to encourage me. stepho

Rainy Day Trial always brings A Rainbow of Beauty

Today when i woke up i felt like the weather,

dark and gloomy! I had so much stuff on my mind and I was not wanting to in class to day, and i did not want to have my devotions but I did with the help Naomi and Amber's encouragement.

when 12:00 came my Christian Church epistles was a very BIG help to me. Br. Hooks was talking about the church of Thessionice and how that when we go through trials it is for our good and to make us beautiful.

here are some quotes that Br. Hooks gave us and i am going to try and apply these to my life

1. our Faith+ God's grace = true love
2. a mushroom will grow in one night but a mighty oak will endure many storms before become strong and beautiful
3. the trials that we go through will show God's righteousness in my life
4. when bless God then He will give me his grace that will reveal his glory

I Peter 4:12-13

Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened unto you

But Rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Chirst's sufferings that when his glory shall be revealed ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Well i am feeling a whole lot better becauce the Lord showed me that after ever rainy trail a Rainbow of beauty will be seen

SPRING FEVER..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this weekend i caught the spring fever, me and some of my GREAT FRIENDS went put- putting and i placed 1st ,Naomi placed 2nd, Michael placed 3rd, and Stephanie placed 4th. i also had one of those moments when you just feel like you want to fly away and see

the world in a different view. I even felt for a moment i was floating on air it was awesome

a spiritual Rollercoaster

i have been having a spirtiual stry in my life over some things in my life. such as this summer, friendships, and trying to die to self

it's hard because when i feel like i got it i go upside down! but there is really no way to explain it because it's like a Rush you get when you just get done with a AWESOME ROLLERCOASTER . I know i sound like im not making any sence but

Life is like a Rollercoaster sometimes we go up and sometimes down

Sometimes we come to asharp curve and sometimes we stop abruptly

night of lunar experiance

Last night was one of those awesome experiance that you don't get every time. it was a lunar experiance BUT not only that it was one of those days that the Lord just speaks to you. You are probaly wondering how a lunar experience and the Lord speaking to you goes together. DON'T WORRY I EXPLAIN. Here's how, a Lunar eclipse can occur up to 3 times a year then 2 weeks before/after an lunar eclipse The Solar Eclipse happens. Likewise sometimes you will go through a dry, normal time in your life and you may have those stiring moments in service or in your devotions whenthe Lord speaks to you ( THOES ARE THE LUNAR ECLIPES ) but just wait cause God is going to bring a rushing blessing upon your life if you keep watching Him (THOES ARE THE SOLAR ECLIPES )

SO NOW THAT YOU SEE THE COMPARISON HERE'S THE APPLICATION.

you may be in a dry, normal spot right in your devotion life {I was} but the the Lord's lunar eclipse is going to happene if you abide in him (John 15:4) then you will have a Solar one. When it happens its going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A day of Brain Freezes

Today started like any other. I got up at 5:00Am and got to school at 7:00 with classes going good. Bible Doctrine was Awesome and my Fashion matching today was rated an 8.5/9 which is SOOooooooooooooo Cool! I am glad for Omi, Bama, and Marybeth for helping me. Then came Chapel, it was a great message from Galations 1:1-10 on How to be a Servant of God. I am trying to work on that + trying to work on sleeping in God's will. That is were the brain freezes started coming into ACTION. It wasn't just a normal Brain Freeze it was more of a Scatter thought than a Brain Freeze, but it felt one. The Freeze is over and I am back to normal. later stepho

A FLASH TO THE PAST

hey everyone, I have just started my own blog so I can feel you in on what has been happening to me scince I have been here at college, it's weird that my second semester as a sopmore is about over . WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it has flown. So to try and get you to the point where I stand now I have to go BACK TO THE PAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Freshman yr was probley like most Freshman yrs, crazy! stupid! and fun! One of the things that I remember very well from my Freshman yr is the great friends that I made, here are some photes . you can see that I had some CRazy friends but I know I could not have made it through my freshman yr with out them. it just like the Bible says in Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.)
